Hollidaysburg blanks Belle Vernon 7-0 in overtime

Visiting Hollidaysburg blanked Belle Vernon 7-0 in an overtime thriller at James Weir Stadium on Friday night.

Hollidaysburg running back Zach Kovash scored on a 2-yard plunge in overtime as the Golden Tigers won a defensive battle over host Belle Vernon. The Leopards fell to 2-2 while Hollidaysburg improved to 3-1. The Golden Tiges had missed a pair of field goals earlier in the game.
