Fourth and fifth round see five local players selected

Several players with local ties were drafted in the fourth and fifth rounds of Saturday's NFL Draft.

West Virginia's Kevin White will be the first local player off the board, but Pitt's TJ Clemmings looks like a first-rounder as well. Penn State has several players expected to go in the second and third days of the draft.

West Virginia's NCAA Tournament run came to a sudden end at the hands of undefeated Kentucky, as the Wildcats took an early lead and cruised to a 78-39 blowout over the Mountaineers.

Trey Lyles had 14 points, the Harrison twins—Andrew (12) and Aaron (13)—combined for 25 and unbeaten Kentucky Wildcats continued their pursuit of history with their 37th straight win.

Devin Williams had 16 points and 10 rebounds as ‎West Virginia‬ beat Maryland 69-59 to advance to the Sweet 16.

West Virginia will advance to the second weekend of the tournament for the first time since 2010, when it went all the way to the Final Four.

The Colonials will face North Florida in an NCAA Tournament play-in game on Wednesday in Dayton, while the Mountaineers earned a fifth seed and will square off against Buffalo in Columbus.

The Colonials learned of their draw at a Selection Sunday watch party in Robinson, Pa., at the All-Star Sports Bar & Grille.

The Bears, who scored 26 points from the free throw line, are headed to the Big 12 Championship semifinals for the fifth time in seven years.
